The best way to rent a car Alto in Karachi is a self-drive Suzuki Alto booked by the day if you need it for up to about three weeks. Book a monthly plan if you need it longer. Add a driver if you would rather skip Karachi traffic, and step up to a Corolla or Yaris when four seats are not enough. At Rehan Rent A Car the Alto starts from Rs. 5,000 per day or Rs. 1,10,000 per month.
The problem with searching for an Alto car for rent is that most listings show a "from" price and nothing else. You cannot tell whether the car is automatic, whether a driver is included, how much deposit you pay up front or who covers damage. Those details decide what you actually spend, and they are what separates a good rental from a frustrating one.
Rehan Rent A Car has rented cars in Karachi since 2012, so this guide uses our own rates and terms. It covers four ways to rent an Alto, each broken down the same way: how it works, who it suits, and what it costs. Read the one that matches your dates, then call or message to book.
1. Self-drive Alto by the day
A daily self-drive rental is the simplest way to rent an Alto without a driver. You pay a flat daily rate, drive the car yourself and return it when you are done. It is the right pick for any rental under about three weeks.

How it works
You book by phone, WhatsApp or at our Liaquatabad office. We deliver the car to your home, office or hotel anywhere in Karachi, typically within 1 to 3 hours depending on your area and availability. Our Alto is a 2022 to 2026 model with a 660cc engine and AGS automatic transmission, so there is no clutch pedal. The air conditioning is fitted and the car seats four.
You need three things to rent a car without a driver:
- Your CNIC
- A valid driving license held for at least 1 year
- A refundable security deposit of Rs. 25,000
Who it suits
Pick this option for errands, office runs, a few days while your own car is in the workshop, or a short visit where you want to move around freely. The Alto is easy to park in crowded areas like Saddar and Clifton. It is not the car for five people or heavy luggage.
A daily self-drive Alto is the cheapest way into a car, as long as you only need it for a few days.
Price and terms
The Alto starts from Rs. 5,000 per day. The deposit is returned 7 days after the car comes back. Payment is in cash (PKR) or by bank transfer, and you get a receipt either way. Return the car with the same fuel level you received it with.
Here is a worked example. For 3 days you pay Rs. 15,000 in rent plus the Rs. 25,000 deposit, so Rs. 40,000 leaves your hand on day one. Rs. 25,000 comes back after the return. Fuel costs stay low because the Alto averages 18 to 22 km/L, which means about 4.5 to 5.5 litres per 100 km.
2. Self-drive Alto on a monthly plan
The monthly plan is the same self-drive Alto at a lower effective daily rate. At Rs. 1,10,000 it works out to about Rs. 3,667 per day, and it beats the daily rate once you need the car for more than 22 days.

How it works
You get a 2022 to 2026 Suzuki Alto with automatic (AGS) transmission for the month. The plan includes theft and snatching coverage, routine maintenance, free delivery anywhere in Karachi and 24/7 breakdown support. There are no hidden charges. The same self-drive requirements apply as for a daily rental.
One limit matters. Accident and collision damage is not covered, and the renter is fully responsible for it. Drive accordingly, and ask us about any point you are unsure of before signing.
Who it suits
This plan fits people who commute daily and do not want to buy a car, professionals relocating to Karachi, and anyone on a project that runs a few weeks or more. You skip the repair shop and the resale worry. If you also need a second car for a family member, the monthly plan keeps both costs predictable.
Past 22 days of use, the monthly plan costs less than renting the same Alto by the day.
Price and terms
The table compares both rates for the same Alto, using the from-rate of Rs. 5,000 per day.
| Days needed | At the daily rate | Monthly plan | Cheaper option |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 | Rs. 35,000 | Rs. 1,10,000 | Daily |
| 15 | Rs. 75,000 | Rs. 1,10,000 | Daily |
| 22 | Rs. 1,10,000 | Rs. 1,10,000 | Equal |
| 30 | Rs. 1,50,000 | Rs. 1,10,000 | Monthly, saves Rs. 40,000 |
3. Alto with a driver
An Alto with a driver is the right choice when you want the cheapest car but not the stress of driving it. Our chauffeur service supplies professional drivers for rented vehicles, and it is the most requested option we have.

How it works
You book the same way, by phone, WhatsApp or in person. The service runs 24/7, and delivery in Karachi is free. A standard booking covers a 10-hour shift, and overtime is charged beyond that. Because the driver takes one of the four seats, plan for three passengers.
Who it suits
A driver suits visitors who do not know Karachi’s roads, and travelers who want a pickup at Jinnah International Airport. It also suits anyone who has held a license for less than a year, since self-drive needs at least one year. If you want to take calls or rest in traffic, this is the better fit.
Choose the driver option when your time in the car is worth more than the saving from driving yourself.
Price and terms
We do not publish a fixed Alto-with-driver rate, because it depends on your hours and route. Ask for the figure before the car leaves, and confirm these points:
- How many hours the day rate covers
- What overtime costs per extra hour
- Whether fuel is part of the quote
- Which stops and areas the route includes
4. Corolla or Yaris when the Alto is too small
If the Alto does not fit your group or luggage, a Toyota Corolla XLi or Yaris is the logical upgrade. Both can be rented for self-drive or with a driver, and one of them costs less per day than the Alto.
How it works
The Corolla XLi is a manual 1300cc sedan in 2013 and 2015 models, and the 2013 car is a spacious five-seat family car. The Yaris is a 1.3L Dual VVT-i sedan with CVT automatic, auto AC, a full sedan trunk and 2021 to 2026 models available. It seats five and averages 14 to 18 km/L. Delivery is arranged the same way as for the Alto.
Who it suits
Take a Corolla if you are a confident manual driver, travel as a family of five or want a lower rate. Take the Yaris if you want an automatic and room for bags. Stay with the Alto if you drive alone or with one passenger and care most about fuel and parking.
Price and terms
The table sets all four cars side by side.
| Car | Per day | Per month | Gearbox | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Suzuki Alto 2022 to 2026 | From Rs. 5,000 | Rs. 1,10,000 | AGS automatic | 4 |
| Corolla XLi 2013 | Rs. 4,000 | Rs. 80,000 | Manual | 5 |
| Corolla XLi 2015 | Rs. 5,000 | Rs. 95,000 | Manual | 5 |
| Toyota Yaris 2021 to 2026 | From Rs. 7,000 | Rs. 1,50,000 | CVT automatic | 5 |
The Corolla XLi 2013 is Rs. 1,000 per day cheaper than the Alto, and its monthly rate is Rs. 30,000 lower. The Alto’s higher price buys you an automatic gearbox and better fuel economy.
If you can drive a manual, the older Corolla undercuts the Alto, and if you cannot, the Alto is the cheapest automatic we have.
Which Alto rental to book
For a few days, rent the Alto by the day and drive it yourself. For more than 22 days, take the monthly plan and save Rs. 40,000 over a 30-day month. If you do not want to drive, ask for the Alto with a driver. If you need five seats or a manual at a lower rate, look at the Corolla XLi.
Whichever you choose, check the deposit, fuel level on return and who pays for accident damage before you accept the keys. Those three points cause most rental disputes. You can check Alto availability with Rehan Rent A Car and book by phone or WhatsApp. You can also visit our office in Liaquatabad Town, which is open every day.
