Terms & Conditions — Rehan Rent A Car Karachi

By proceeding with any booking — whether via phone, WhatsApp, in-person, or through our website — you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in full.
• You agree to comply with all conditions stated herein.
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Pakistani law.
• All information provided to us at the time of booking is accurate and complete.

For Pakistani Nationals (Self-Drive):

• Valid original CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card)
• Valid Pakistani driving licence — car category (must not be expired)
• Refundable security deposit (amount varies by vehicle)
• Minimum age: 22 years

For Foreign Nationals (Self-Drive):

• Valid Passport with active Pakistani entry visa
• International Driving Permit (IDP) or home country driving licence
• Refundable security deposit

For Chauffeur-Driven Bookings:

• Valid CNIC or Passport for identity verification
• Contact number for booking confirmation
• No driving licence required from the customer

• Bookings are accepted via phone, WhatsApp (0310-9933007), and in-person at our Karachi office.
• A booking is confirmed only after verbal or written confirmation from our team.
• Availability is subject to fleet status at the time of booking and is not guaranteed until confirmed.
• For same-day bookings, confirmation must be received at least 2 hours before the required delivery time.
• We reserve the right to substitute a confirmed vehicle with one of equal or higher category if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable due to maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
• All bookings are subject to acceptance by Rehan Rent A Car at our sole discretion.

• The renter must be the holder of a valid driving licence and must drive the vehicle personally.
• The vehicle must not be driven by any person other than the verified renter without prior written consent from Rehan Rent A Car.
• The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location and at the agreed time.
• The renter is responsible for the vehicle throughout the rental period, including any damage, theft, or traffic violations.
• The renter must not sub-let, hire, or transfer the vehicle to any third party.
• Self-drive vehicles are provided for use within Karachi city limits only, unless prior written approval for intercity travel has been obtained.
• Intercity travel will incur additional charges as agreed at the time of booking.
• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of handover.

• Our chauffeur-driven service includes a professional, background-verified driver assigned to the customer.
• The customer must treat the assigned driver with respect and dignity at all times.
• The driver operates under the instructions of the customer for the duration of the rental period, within the limits of these terms and applicable law.
• Drivers will not participate in any activity that is illegal, unsafe, or contrary to Pakistani law.
• For outstation travel with a driver, an overnight allowance of PKR 1,500–2,000 per night applies, payable by the customer.
• Waiting charges apply after the first 30 minutes of idle waiting time beyond the scheduled pickup time.
• Rehan Rent A Car reserves the right to replace a driver in case of illness, emergency, or complaint.

• A refundable security deposit is required for all self-drive rentals. The amount varies by vehicle category and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• The deposit is held for the duration of the rental period.
• The full deposit will be returned upon vehicle return, subject to the vehicle being in the same condition as at handover — no damage, no missing accessories, no unpaid fines.
• If damage is identified at return, repair costs will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
• If damage costs exceed the deposit amount, the customer remains liable for the difference.
• Deposits are returned within 1–3 working days of vehicle return and assessment.

• Rental charges are due in advance or as agreed at the time of booking.
• Payment is accepted in cash (PKR) or bank transfer. Receipts are issued for all payments.
• Corporate clients with approved accounts may be invoiced monthly in arrears, subject to a signed agreement.
• Rehan Rent A Car is FBR registered (NTN: 0519168-8) and issues compliant receipts and invoices on request.
• Rates quoted are inclusive of all standard charges unless otherwise specified.
• Additional charges (fuel, intercity travel, overnight driver allowance, waiting time) are separate and payable by the customer.
• Toll charges on motorways or expressways are the customer’s responsibility.
• Traffic fines or violations incurred during the rental period are the renter’s sole responsibility.

• All vehicles are delivered with a defined fuel level, which will be clearly noted at handover.
• The customer is responsible for refuelling the vehicle during the rental period.
• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at handover.
• If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refuelling charge will be deducted from the security deposit or charged separately.
• Only the correct fuel type as specified for each vehicle must be used. Damage caused by incorrect fuelling is the customer’s liability.

• The renter is fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault.
• In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately notify Rehan Rent A Car and the relevant authorities.
• The renter must not authorise any repairs without prior written consent from Rehan Rent A Car.
• All damage costs will be assessed at current market repair rates and invoiced to the renter.
• Damage caused by negligence, reckless driving, driving under the influence, or violation of these terms voids any insurance coverage and makes the renter fully liable.
• In the case of total loss or theft, the renter is liable for the full current market value of the vehicle.

• Cancellation more than 24 hours before rental start: Full refund of any advance payment.
• Cancellation within 24 hours of rental start: 50% of the first day’s rental charge may be retained as a cancellation fee.
• No-show (customer does not arrive without notice): Full first day’s rental charge will be retained.
• Early return: No refund is issued for unused rental days unless prior written agreement has been made.
• Rehan Rent A Car reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or non-compliance with booking conditions. A full refund will be issued in such cases.

• Extensions must be requested and confirmed at least 4 hours before the scheduled return time.
• Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and will be charged at the standard daily rate.
• Returning a vehicle late without prior confirmation will incur a late return charge of 50% of the daily rate per additional day or part thereof.
• Continued possession of the vehicle beyond the agreed return time without authorisation constitutes a breach of contract and may result in legal action.

The renter must not use, or allow any other person to use, the rented vehicle for any of the following purposes:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs driving ability
• Carrying or transporting any illegal substances, weapons, or contraband
• Any illegal activity under Pakistani federal or provincial law
• Transporting passengers for hire or commercial purposes (unless expressly agreed)
• Racing, off-road driving, or use in any competition
• Towing or pushing another vehicle
• Carrying a load exceeding the vehicle’s rated capacity
• Travel outside Pakistan without prior written consent
• Use in any geographic area specifically restricted by Rehan Rent A Car

• In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the renter must immediately notify Rehan Rent A Car at 0310-9933007.
• Rehan Rent A Car will make reasonable efforts to provide an emergency vehicle replacement within the shortest possible time.
• The renter must not authorise repairs independently without our prior written approval.
• Breakdown caused by the renter’s negligence, misuse, or violation of these terms will be charged to the renter.
• Minor issues such as flat tyres caused by road conditions are the renter’s responsibility during the rental period.

• Personal information collected at the time of booking (CNIC, name, contact number, driving licence) is used solely for the purpose of processing and managing your rental.
• Your data is stored securely and is not shared with any third party without your consent, except as required by law or regulatory authority.
• CNIC and licence copies are retained for a minimum period required under Pakistani business and tax regulations.
• You may contact us at 0310-9933007 to request access to or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

• Rehan Rent A Car reserves the right to update, amend, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• The updated terms will be published on our website at rehanrentacar.com with a revised effective date.
• Continued use of our services after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
• Terms in effect at the time of your booking will govern that specific rental transaction.

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or any rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
• Rehan Rent A Car will first seek to resolve any dispute through direct communication and mutual agreement before initiating formal legal proceedings.
